Obituary of Albert J. Metevier

Of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be held 11:00am, Thursday, July 19, 2007, at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Deacon Jim Brown will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Albert's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, on Wednesday from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service. On Wednesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 6:00pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Austin Zawol fund for medical treatments. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \

Albert was born August 2, 1923 in Cheboygan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Mary (Prieur) Metevier. He was a WWII Veteran and retired from Buick Motor Plant in October 1976.\

Albert leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Linda (Gary) Zawol, Sandy (George) Treece and son Ronald (Alisa) Metevier, seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters. \
