Albert Metevier was a friend to our family for years. He and Barb were friends of my parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, and cousins, for more than 40 years. \ \ Al and Barb Metevier were included in all of our family functions. To us they were family. My siblings remember what fun we used to have. Al was a very close friend of my uncle, Grant Delbridge. He and Barb became close friends of our entire Delbridge Family. They were part of our graduations, weddings, births, trips up north, retirement parties, illnesses, deaths, all the normal family functions.\ \ Families change and everyone grows older. Nothing stays the same forever.\ \ Al was especially close to our mother, Jennie Delbridge who passed away three years ago. He would keep in touch with her after our father, Jay (Art) died to make sure she was doing okay. They would talk about old times, how Barb was and their lives at present. It is always good to have an old friend to talk to. What a nice man!\ \ It has been years since I have seen Al, but remember him fondly. He will always be remembered.
