Michael was a very kind and giving man. Many times he did things for me around the house and the yard. He had a green thumb for plants. Both Marta and Mike loved to go camping with Lance and his wife , also Justin and his soon to be wife. Mike also loved his special daughter and awesome grandsons. I hope they never forget how very proud he was of them. Also was an awesome Santa Claus !!

I was saddened to hear of Mike's demise, as he was such a good friend and a staple in the neighborhood. I first met him when he & my friend, Marta, were dating and took an immediate liking to him. Mike was always happy to see folks and made everyone feel welcome. Quite often we would chat at the sidewalk while he was tending his lawn, I don't mind saying I was jealous because he made having a nice yard look easy while I'm good at growing weeds. Mike and Marta came to my home one year as Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, that's one of my fondest memories as my grandchildren were young enough to truly believe they were and were enraptured. I appreciated Mike's kind heart and the way he loved my friend, Marta, there was never any doubt she was his everything. I've never known a man to love his wife so much and to put her first in all ways, it truly made an impression on me. As for Heather, Anthony, Noah, and Logan, there was always a twinkle in his eyes when he spoke of them and you could feel the love & pride exuding from him. Mike was one of those people who truly made an impact on everyone he met, it was always in a positive manner, and he will be sorely missed by all.

Mike was many different things to many different people. I have known Mike since for about 38 years, he was at one time for many years my brother in law. I have tons of memories and stories I could share but there is one thing that stands out more than the rest, his pride in joy-his daughter Heather. Mike’s greatest accomplishment and he had a few was being a dad. Second I would have to say was being a grandpa to Logan and Noah. I know many people will miss him but if you could please say a special prayer for his daughter Heather and his grandsons. May they carry his love and memories in their hearts until they meet again.

Mike was always willing to help anyway he could at our Back to the Bricks events. He was often the first one to arrive and the last one to leave. He was pleasant with all of us and stern when things needed to be handled from a security perspective. He brought joy to our organization and we were so blessed to have his smiling face to encourage us when we needed it. He will be greatly missed. We love you, BIG MIKE!
