My sincere condolences to the family of Joan. It was an honor getting to spend the last couple of years with her as her nurse aide. I cherished every laugh, cry and conversation I shared with Joan. I loved her as family and she loved me and my son just the same. We often talked about God and the bible and I believe God places special people into your life for a certain reason and that was Joan for me. To be in the presence of such a beautiful person with a kind heart and kind spirit is really something special. Joan brought a special light into my life and for that I am eternally grateful. She taught me the true meaning of family just based on how highly she spoke of her own family and how much she loved every single member of her family including her best friend. I will miss our talks about crafts and cooking. I will never forget you my friend and you will always hold a very special place in my heart. Me and Zion love you so much and will miss you!
