Deb and I went to Barber School in Kindergarten where she was one of the “Cool Walkers” since she lived so close and did not have to take the bus. Our friendship grew closer in middle school and in our young adult life. She was one of the most talented musicians I know. I remember the excitement when it was announced that she had won a scholarship to Interlochen Music for the Arts in middle school – one of the youngest to do so. She gave the wonderful gift of music whenever she played her angelic flute, picked up her guitar or sat at the piano. I will always treasure the memories of our many fun adventures, awesome travels and laughter. Throughout her life, her foundation in faith (taking me to many church services both near and far) and her absolute love of family was always solid. To see this type of love in action is one of the best gifts a friend can bestow. My prayers of comfort are sent to Deb’s dear family and friends.

We were so sorry to hear of Deb's passing. I always enjoyed our talking on the phone. She is now having Uncle Eugene & Aunt Iva give her the ultimate tour of heaven. She loved the Lord. She will be so missed by all of us..Rest in God's peace Deb, We love you! Buzz & Sally

Debi and I have been as "sisters " the last 47 years. I miss her humor, Christian insight, love and passed energy. We met in 1975 when playing in a small, short-lived local band. It was difficult to see the decline in her health over the past 4 years when I came to visit from Cincinnati. She will be deeply missed and has left a hole in my heart due to her passing. I know my "sister" is now basking in the light of our Heavenly Father. Prayers for (son, Zak and family) ( husband,Mitch), (sister, Kristi and family) (brothers, Doug and Steve) and families.
