Where do you begin when there are so many memories. We had so many fun times when we bowled together. I believe we met through Scouts. Our boys were in Scouts together. We have been friends for so many years it just seems like we were friends forever!! Kathy was always ready for fun and adventure. We had so many good times, camping, going on our “girls” weekends. New Years parties. The 5 couples got a reputation of being the crazies from Mt. Morris!! It was always fun and times we all cherish and Kathy and Chuck were a big part of the fun! They will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to the family

Derrick & Jered it was so hard to see the sadness in your eyes today. Kathy was so proud of you both & your families. Sue said it so well, we’ve been friends for 38 years & we have so many memories. But sadly not enough. She was a special friend & we will miss her.

Although we didnt get to connect in person as we had planned, we spoke often and made plans for future post-covid adventures. She saved me in high school when I moved to Danbury in my senior year in high school. She befriended me and we had some wild adventures. I will miss her.

Kathy and I were friends in grade school at St. Peter’s School in Danbury. We graduated from DHS in 1969. We went our separate ways, got married and lost contact with her in Michigan and me in Idaho. We connected in 1989 at our 20 year reunion. It was so great to visit with her and her husband and reminisce about our school days and friendship. We exchanged addresses and kept in touch through Christmas cards and then later on Facebook. I was hoping to see her at out 50 year reunion but Chucks illness kept her home caring for him. I’m so glad we had our FB connection and pray that she is peacefully at rest. My condolences go out to her family.

My sincerest condolences to the family and close friends. My heart is sad for all of you in this difficult time. Kathy will be sorely missed! Although I only met Kathy once in person, I felt like I have known her for some time. Kathy lived across the street from my parents and she was always so kind to them. She always kept a watchful eye on them..... and always had a kind word to share. She was a lovely woman and her spirit was full of love not only for her children, family and friends, but for her beloved pets too! She was very special. So sad to hear this news. We were close friends in high school She introduced me to Motown music, muscle cars and other mysteries of life. I have many fond memories of our deep conversations in her kitchen while drinking tea with crackers and cream cheese as an afternoon snack.Kathy's honesty and bold spirit inspired me to become a stronger woman on my own path. May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her.
