Obituary of Clyde Earl Anderson, Jr.

Age 64, of Clio, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at Taylor Lodge Assisted Living in Clio. In accordance with Clyde’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions in Clyde’s name to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. The family would like to encourage everyone to listen to the song, Dust in the Wind by Kansas, in Clyde’s memory.
Clyde was born in Flint, on February 28, 1956, to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Earl and Betty Jane (McCormick) Anderson. Educated locally, Clyde attended Mt. Morris Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School and graduated with the Class of 1974. After high school, Clyde attended vocational school to become an electrician. Employed with General Motors, Clyde retired in 2016, after 33 years of service. While at General Motors, Clyde met Mary Seeley and they began dating, fell in love, and were united in marriage on March 11, 1991, at Mt. Morris Christian Faith Church. Clyde loved hunting, hiking in the mountains out west, camping, listening to music, hockey, and working on anything that needed to be fixed.
Clyde is survived by his loving wife: Mary; children: Aricka Anderson, Clyde Earl Anderson III, Traci and husband, Chad Bratton, and Tara and husband, Jonathon Miedema; grandchildren: Breck Bratton, Aedric Bratton, Elias Bratton, Asher Miedema, and Arie Miedema; siblings: Dan and wife, Karen Anderson, Gary and wife, Jean Anderson, and Sandra and husband, Richard Erspamer; and his very close group of friends.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents; and brother; Rick Anderson.
