Obituary of Benjamin Franklin Robert Farrell
Benjamin Franklin Robert, age 38, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Maine, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Cremation has taken place, and private services will be held at a later date, both in Michigan and Maine. Burial will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine.
Ben was born November 23, 1980, in Augusta Maine, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Diane (Ramiller) Farrell. He was raised in Maine before joining the United States Army, where he proudly served his country in Iraq. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Michigan to live. Ben enjoyed spending time with his son, cooking, and playing the guitar. He was known for his laugh and his ability to be a jack of all trades.
Ben leaves to cherish his memory his son, Aidan Farrell; step-daughter, Lexi Simpson; grandson, Lucas Simpson; longtime girlfriend, Dana Simpson; mother, Diane and husband, Leland Markham; brother, Frank and wife, Susan Farrell; sister, Michelle DiTomaso; step-brother, Leland Markham II; nephew, David Farrell; niece, Zoe DiTomaso; many aunts; uncles; cousins; and all those he proudly served within the United States Army.
Ben was preceded in death by his father, Frank Farrell.
