I knew Ben while Growing up in Monmouth he and his Brother Frank were in the Grade ahead of me and his sister Michelle was in my grade. Ben was loyal and very kind always looking out for his friends and family. Later I served on the Monmouth Jr. Fire Department with him and I remember he we dedicated and loved helping others. I will miss him. To Michelle and Frank, I'm so sorry that you have lost your brother. My heart and prayers go out to you.

I was in the army with Ben. I was actually his Sergeant at the beginning of his career. To this day I still feel he was one of the best soldiers I ever had. He would have done anything I ever asked him to do, most things he just did without being asked. His work ethic was impeccable and his heart was made of gold. Just want to honestly say he will always live in my heart and my memories as it's one of the best soldiers I ever knew.

Praying for the family, Ben was a great friend. We were both monitors in recovery houses in Westland MI, we spent endless hours together. Gonna miss my video gamer and fantasy football partner. Love you buddy!
