Gerry was my brother in law he was a big part of Steve's and my life. I remember him telling me about going to yard sales and buying the weirdest item or piece of clothing to give to Sue knowing full well she would not like it or wear it. He was such a jokester. To his family I'm so sorry for your loss. Love and prayers to all in this time of healing.

Jerry was a regular participant at our monthly song-circles in Flint. He was a fine musician and had a generous and friendly personality. Skilled on the 6 & 12 string guitars, harmonica, and banjo, Jerry always had a surprising bag of songs and stories that he loved to tell. One of his favorites was "The Piano Man" (by Billy Joel) which he played with guitar and harmonica. Like the lyrics state, "We're all in the mood for a melody, and you've got us feeling alright!" was a line that sort of fit Jerry's life. He and his friend, Wayne Smoot, often played at nursing homes as a duet to entertain seniors. Wayne just passed six weeks ago, so we are hoping that in the sweet bye and bye, Jerry and Wayne (and all of us) can sing and play together again. He will be dearly missed by all his fellow friends and musicians.

This is Jerry doing what he loves, sharing his music with others. He will be greatly missed at our monthly song-circle meetings where a group of 10-20 people gather monthly to share acoustic music. Jerry was a wonderful guy.

I worked with Jerry as a fellow bus driver at Grand Blanc Transportation. Always sat with him before our mornings runs. It was a pleasure to know Jerry these past 6 years. He will truly be missed. May the Lord be with you during this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy too the Tvorik family. Jerry (Tarzi) was my cousin. I have many memories of the fun times we had when visiting Uncle Frank and Aunt Vera house in Michigan. I especially remember his wedding too Sue. She made a beautiful bride. RIP Jerry (Tarzi).

I worked with Jerry at the Grand Blanc School Transportation. Jerry always had a smile on his face. Jerry would pass out beads to staff and students on St Patrick's Day, and came in dress as Santa Clause on the last day of school before Christmas break. He really did love his job here. It showed by his positive attitude and smiling face. He was alot of fun to work with.
I will really miss him.

I apologize that we cannot be there. I want to remember Uncle Jerry with all the good times we shared. Going to the Eagles Club to listen and watch him play in his band, showing me how to scuba dive at the pool in Eagle, MI - it was small, but the intent had a purpose. Watching Uncle Jerry and Grandma drink Yellowbird. I don't know who had more fun. Being there for me, the night before my wedding, staying at Grandma's house and making French Onion soup. Those little things meant the world to me. These are just a few memories that I will always cherish. His voice, however, will resonate in my heart forever...singing the many songs that he loved to play. With a heavy heart I will miss you Uncle Jerry.
