Obituary of Judith Gerard Langridge
Judith Gerard Langridge, age 59, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Portland, Oregon, died Sunday, August 12, 2018, at her home. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date in both Mt. Morris, and Chicago, Illinois. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to a local animal shelter or soup kitchen.
Judith was born on December 9, 1958, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Cyril and Sally (Ryan) Langridge. Judith worked as a librarian at Oregon State University and the University of Portland for many years. She and her partner Leslie moved to the state of Michigan, in July of 2014. In her free time, Judith loved to watch baseball games; especially the Chicago Cubs, reading, hiking and walking her dogs, and traveling. Judith was also a huge animal lover.
Left to cherish her memory are her partner, Leslie Nicholas; the Nicholas and Arkwright family; her two nephews: Steve, and Tobin; and her niece, Sarah; sister-in-law, Sue Langridge; her two dogs: Milo and Fergus; her two cats: Gonzo, and Mr. Tidbit; and her hen, Diana Ross.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Sally; and her siblings: Mary and Cyril.
