Obituary of Anthony Michael Folino

Of Vassar, age 68, died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at St. MaryAaas of Michigan in Saginaw. He was born August 17, 1939 in Kane, Pennsylvania, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frances and Mary (Powley) Folino. Tony was a longtime member and past chairman of the American Foundry MenAaas Society - Saginaw Chapter, the Saginaw Fordney Club and the Vassar LionAaas Club. He was also very active in the Vassar Economic Development Corporation, National Rifle Association, National Republican Party and was the Treasurer of Canyon Oil, Inc. In March of 1992 he and Mary Neuendorf were united in marriage. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. Tony leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary; children, Renee (Gary) Mietz, Frances (Tony) Elenbaas, Anthony (Danielle) Folino and Susan (Craig) Keighron; grandchildren, Olivia Everein, Madison Everin, Anthony P. Folino, Joseph A. Folino and Diesel Keighron; step-grandchildren, Tyler (Jennifer) Mietz and Tyler and Ryan Elenbaas and brother, Thomas Folino. Tony was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will take place 11:00am Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Rev. John Becker will officiate with cremation to follow. TonyAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 6:00pm until 8:30pm and again on Thursday from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.
