Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Your husband seemed to be very active and very liked by many people. I wish there was something to do to help your pain but time will ease your pain but time will not allow you to forget your favorite memories and special times with such a great man.

I just wanted to say how very sorry to hear about your loss. We will miss the times we used to see Doug riding his bike thur the bike trail. He was our sons track coach a couple years ago. We loved his kind words and spending times with him. He was a special person !!

I'm very sorry to hear of Doug's passing and want to say God Bless his family. I met Doug in my last years of coaching track and XC at Mt. Morris and immediately saw the respect and love he had from his teams. He was highly regarded by his peers. I wish I had more years to have worked with him.

Mr. Best was always so nice to me in the hallways. He really didn't know me but he had my sister Stacey for awhile there. He was a really nice man and I am sad to see him go. He's in a better place though with God and Adam and Mike.

I am so sorry to hear of your lose. My son had him for a teacher and loved him. He is so upset right now over this. My sister also had him. I will make sure Danny is up there to see him. Your husband was the one and only teacher that put his all into his students. He had so much patience. I wish there were more teachers like him out there. He got my son to come along ways. He looked up to him and really respected you husband. My son was a real goof off until Mr. Best got ahold of him. Danny took in everything he told him. He was an awesome teacher. The entire school is already missing him.
