Obituary of Ethel Hoffman

Of Flint, age 87, died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Briarwood Manor. The funeral service will take place 10:00am, Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and Sunday 2:00pm until 8:00pm. Ethel was born January 4, 1921 in Concord, North Carolina, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Odie and Bessie (Love) Tucker. She and William G. Hoffman were united in marriage April 19, 1941. Ethel retired from General Motors. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter; Dianne and husband Dirk, grandchildren; Sherri L. Greve and Scott L. Greve, several neices and nephews; special friends, Virginia and husband Leon Pifer and Tim Blue. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Briarwood Manor staff and all her friends. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband William. Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home.
