YETTAW, Maunee A.
Of Mt. Morris, age 98, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at home. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Saturday morning from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00 am.
Maunee was born August 2, 1910 in Elsie, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernice and Effie (Oberlin) Pierce. She worked at Hurley Hospital for over 20 years as a nurses aide. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Maunee leaves to cherish her memory three children: Liland and wife Donna Yettaw, of AZ, Marilyn and husband Fran Reed of Millington, and Harold and wife Gloria Yettaw of Greenbush, daughter in law Linda Yettaw, of East Tawas, 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, youngest son David, and three brothers.
