My prayers and thoughts go out to the family of Doug. My memory of Doug goes back many years ago, he was my 5th grade boyfriend. .... He threw a Christmas pin at me and yelled as he ran "will you be my girlfriend". A silly memory but a great one. He turned into a great man, father and husband . Thanks to Facebook I enjoyed seeing pictures and seeing his joy. RIP Doug====Anita

DOUG WAS MY SUPERVISOR AT THE DOW EVENT CENTER. HE WAS NOT ONLY A SUPERVISOR, HE WAS A FRIEND AND A VERY CARING FAMILY PERSON. TO HIM FAMILY ALWAYS CAME FIRST. HE LOVED TO TALK ABOUT HIS FAMILY, THEN WHEN HE WAS GOING TO BE A GRAMPA, THAT WAS THE BEST. HE WAS A GREAT PERSON AND I AM GLAD I GOT TO KNOW HIM. HE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED, BUT WE WILL CHERISH THE MEMORIES. RIP DOUG, PRAYERS AND SUPPORT TO THE FAMILY

I want to offer my deepest condolences to the LaFontaine family for your loss. While I have never met Douglas, Mona and I have formed a bond that can only be described as brother and sister.
