Mr. Schnell was my teacher when I was a child at Potter Elementary school, I remember that he taught me math in the 5th grade. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, he was an excellent teacher of children.

I worked with Mr.Schnell out to Mott Childrens Farm. He was a great person to work with. He always showed his appreciation for what other people did to help the farm. My husband helped Mr.Schnell chase little animals that got out of their pens. Ron treated everyone like they were really somebody. He was a joy to work with. He will be remembered as a person who really cared.

Ron was an exceptional man. He touched the lives of my family in so many ways. He was fun loving - but most of all he had a strong religious conviction. It makes me sad that as close as he was to my Mom and Dad (Wilbur and Wilma List) and each of my siblings - we lost touch and life went on. Ron will always have a special place in our heart.

To the family of Ron Schnell:
Ron and I were classmates at St. Michael's Lutheran School and then roommates at Concordia Teachers College in River Forest Illinois. We were saddened to hear of Ron's death, and that brings many fond memories of our time together and our mutual vocation as Christian educators.
We pray that you will remember the hearty laughs, the beautiful voice, and the many lives this man of God touched as an educator, as a vocalist, and a family member. Ron now rests in the arms of Jesus. There is no greater blessing that one can ever experience than the joy of heaven with His Savior and with all the saints that have preceded him in heaven.

To the family of Ron Schnell:
I am sorry for your loss that you and your families are experiencing.
This loss will be shared by our pebble in the pond community that was touched by Ron through every visit anyone made to Mott Farm, as well as the countless family events at which he shared his musical talents while enriching those life changing milestone moments for those in attendance.
As you celebrate his life do so with the knowledge that Ron was a difference maker whose presence has left an indelible footprint as an educator, and friend to many, with two or four legs.
Surely the heavens are rejoicing the arrival of Ron Schnell.
