This is Michael
Both me and Mom wish to express our deepest sympathy. Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Aunt Katie and our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We're so sorry we couldn't make it to the funeral. With my disabilities and Mom not driving much anymore, it was difficult for us to be there in person. Mom too was sadden she was unable to make it to her 100th. birthday gathering. We were both so happy she made it to that special milestone. She was a very special lady.

Norma and I loved the video tribute about your mother, Kate. She was a wonderful, kind, compassionate person who had a great sense of humor and who was quick to laugh and listen. I will always remember and treasure all the memories of being at your house building boats with Charles, spending many weekends at the cottage with your family where I learned to swim and water ski, sail a sail boat, fish, laugh, listen to spirited discussions between Erv and Kate, and learned about how relative time was when it came to this Catholic boy eating meat before midnight on Friday. What a wonderful, full life Kate has experienced. God blessed her with everything a person needs in life. God has blessed me with her being a part of my life. Norma and I extend our condolences on the death of your mother. She was an amazing woman with a terrific spirit which she shared with all who came in contact with her. I am sure that is why God granted her 100 years to spread her goodwill on this earth.
