I worked for Walt for three summers during school and have always been thankful for the things I learned from him during those summers – about building and remodeling and about being a good and caring person. Walt was a good teacher and a good man with a keen sense of humor. My memories of those times and the many times I saw Walt when back home visiting always bring a smile. Our prayers go with Walt and with his kids.

Walter Cain was a great man. In the short time I knew him, I learned he was a devoted husband and father who loved his family so much. He had a great sense of humor and I will miss that the most. Thank you to his children for allowing us to get to know him as well as all of you. Like I've said, I will think of him every time I get in my "import."

So sad when those we love pass from this life to their next eternal home. They leave an empty spot in our lives and hearts. We whoknow Jesus are so blessed to have the blessing of knowing this is only temporary and we will be reunited for eternity. Praying for your family through this transition.

My heart grieves with all my cousins and their family at the loss of their father, Walter Cain, or as I just called him "Uncle Walt". He will be greatly missed by all the people whose life he touched, as was my own. I was blessed to be part of a family where I had many aunts and uncles who were real role models to look up to while growing up. I remember my uncle as a hard working family man, his great smile, and the good times we had together at family get together's with him and aunt Pat whom I always loved and now miss. So from all my family to all the Cain family, please know in your heart that our thoughts and prayers will be with you today and the days ahead. God Bless Uncle Walt as he leaves us all in good memories of him.
