Obituary of Roy Arden Craglow

Age 69 of Presque Isle, formerly of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Alpena General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion # 158 will be held 3:00 pm, Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Flint Memorial Park. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Roy was born in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arden and Evelyn (Larson) Craglow. Educated locally, Roy graduated from Mt. Morris High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. He worked as a police officer for the City of Mt. Morris for several years. He also worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters, for over 30 years before retiring. After retirement, Roy moved to Presque Isle. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are five children, Bob and wife, Kristine Craglow, Nicole and husband, Ken Olari, Perry Craglow and Leo and wife, Elizabeth Craglow and Gregory Kusky; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Chris and husband, George Todd and Ardith and husband, Tom Ross; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, William. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Roy's many friends in Presque Isle and at the Fireside Inn.
