Obituary of Thomas Nordstrom

Of Clio, age 56, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The memorial service will take place 5:00pm, Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Cremation has taken place. Pastor David Burkett will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of service at 5:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Thomas was born July 28, 1953 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon and Mary (Seay) Nordstrom. He and Sandra Booth were united in marriage on May 21, 1977. Thomas loved to hunt, fish, and hang out with Maxie. His family, especially his sons, meant everything to him. He will be remembered for being a good father, his wicked sense of humor and being a pain in the butt--but in a good way. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 33 years, Sandra; two sons, Nicholas and Kyle; mother and step-father, Mary and Joe Fechik; brother, Michael and wife, Sandy Nordstrom; sister, Rachel Nordstrom; and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Nordstrom; mother- and father-in-law, Kathleen and Don Booth; and friend, Maxie.
