Aunt Betty loved her family and friends. Her door was always open, whether it was just a visit or out of necessity. She never turned anyone away. You could count on her to always have your back. She not only told us she loved us, she made us feel loved. One thing she believed in was not a hand out, but a leg up in life. Along with the warmth of her home, came advice and realistic expectations of how we should all move forward to better ourselves. Besides her motherly side, she was still a kid at heart and believed in having fun. There wasn't a Yahtzee game that she intended on walking away from defeated. She enjoyed playing card games and board games for as long as I can remember. She truly brought love and joy to many of our lives and we will deeply miss her.

Dear Leslie and family, I will always remember Betty for the warm and sweet person she always was to me, and everyone else. When I would come to visit Russellville, she would sometimes say , "come sit behind me so I can listen to you sing". She was such an encouragement to me not only about singing but in her testimony and her undying faith in Jesus Christ. We as a church say goodbye for now to another one of our great inspirations and examples of Christian faith. She is now a member of that great cloud of witnesses that will encourage us by the heritage they have left to those passed on through Godly lives. Love and prayers to you from Cindy and Chuck Wright

This amazing woman always taught me to be strong and independent. Her sassy mouth and attitude was truly entertaining and inspiring. I will miss her so much and I really wish I could have said goodbye for now. Enjoy your time in heaven Aunt Betty I love you.

I have so many memories of my Aunt Betty...she was kind, strong, & giving she taught me alot of things in life and helped me in bad times and good she never judged me and always told me she loved me but most important she showed me love. She told me she was ready to go home and not to cry...although I shed tears they are of sadness yet joy as she is at peace now..I will always carry the memories and the talks we had and keep them forever in my mind and heart. My Aunt Betty was so full of life and love!! When my husband joined our family 30 years ago, she treated him as if she had known him forever and that he was a "true" member of the Blandford clan!! Anyone who knows the "Blandfords" will understand that!! Aunt Betty I truly believe that you are so happy and full of joy in the presence of JESUS! Give Him a hug for me and tell Him that I'll see Him(and you)soon! Love you!!! P.S. Mom & Dad love you very, very much and so glad they got to spend time with you in the summer!!
