Obituary of Michael Patterson

Of Clio, age 56, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Michael was born August 10, 1957 in Flint, Michigan. He attended Clio High School and played football, basketball and ran track he graduated in 1976. He married Kimberly Blake on October 21, 1977 and they were blessed with two daughters Mikesha and Melissa. In his free time he enjoyed fishing with his brother-in-law and camping with his family. He also enjoyed playing the drums, pool and darts. He was a very caring person and made time to help others when he was needed. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Kimberly; daughters, Mikesha and husband, Christopher Johnson and Melissa and husband, Robert Brooks; grandchildren, Alexander and Joshua; brother, Guy and wife, Margaret; brother-in-law, Richard Blake Jr., sisters, Valerie and husband, Ralph Oliver and Sherry and husband, Jim Iverson; in-laws; Richard and wife, Patricia Blake; his little sidekick, Isaiah Childress; many nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal. The family would like to send a special thanks to the Staff in the McLaren CCU and to all their friends for their support.
