Marion and her husband Wally have been a part of my families life for over 30 years. They were like parents and grandparents to myself and my children. When our kids were little, she and Wally would help take care of them so that we could work and I could go to college. We have spent many years together for holidays and birthdays and just being friends. She was the first person who took care of our third newborn. My daughter said she rocked him the entire time. She loved our children and the children of our neighbors, who she also became family with. She and Wally loved their children and watched them grow up, too. Most importantly, she loved her son and his wife and all of the grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She talked about them all of the time. Pictures of all of them in her home have always been special to her. She and Wally have always been so proud of their family. Marion will be in my families hearts forever and Wally will continue to be a part of our family. Thank you, Marion, for being my friend and family. I will always love you. Tracey Tortorice

Marion was my grandmothers sister. I only met her once that I can remember. I just want to send my condolences to the family of Marion. I'm so sorry to here of her passing. Praying that God will bring you comfort during this time of grief. - Mandy Cockrell (Dusenbury) and family.

Marion was a wonderful neighbor and a true inspiration to myself and my girls for the past 17 1/2 years. There are so many great memories for us - from letting me borrow some ketchup or sugar, planting and sharing flowers, comparing gardens, sharing birthday parties for my girls, watching my girls after school, showing up at 6 a.m. every Christmas morning to open presents and of course my most favorite was enjoying the Christmas lights and decorations she and Wally put up every year. I loved our talks in our yards and on the phone. She was so proud of her grandchildren and always beemed when she spoke of them. Even at 89 years old she still was planting flowers, weeding them, canning, cooking, going camping and driving! She was truly an awsome woman. I was truly blessed to have had her in my life. She will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace.
