I'll always remember Aunt Laura being ready to help our family when I was a young child. Always loved helping her work in her yard raking leaves and having "snacks" that she always had around. Laura played an important role in my decision to becoming a business person just by watching her and how she always seemed able to handle any situation thrown her way. Just thinking of her brings on a smile with all of the great memories she has left me with through the years. I am very grateful that I had the pleasure of calling her my neighbor, mentor and most importantly my Aunt. My daughter and family and I had the priviledge of getting to be with "Aunt Laura" at Lake Murray Lodge in Oklahoma this past Memorial Day weekend and on other occasionals over the years. Aunt Laura grew older but she never grew "old." The was a lovely lady and just one of the girls. She will be missed.

Dear Rita I am so sorry your mother passed away. I remember all the times she came to MSU. The spring she let us use the car to drive to Daytona Beach and you were so sunburnt you could see without wearing your glasses. You and your mom were very close and the years you spent together were wonderful. My heart goes out to you Rita. I wish I were there to cry with you. Love Sherry
