GRAVES, Duane E.\ \ Of Mt. Morris, age 75, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Maplewoods Manor in Clio. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday , December, 23, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Pastor Keith Childerhose and Pastor Charles Yoder will officiate with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Duaneas family will receive friends on Friday from 12 Noon to 9 p.m.\ And on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00a.m. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Duane was born September 3, 1931 in Montrose the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darius and Mable (Eastman) Graves. He and Dora Palmer were united in marriage July 30, 1955. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked as a groundskeeper and in maintenance at the IMA Brookwood Golf Course for 30 years. He was a member of the Leo R. Crow VFW Post # 8236 and he enjoyed woodcarving, drawing and painting.\ \ Surviving are his wife: Dora,\ four children: Debra Shannon of Davison,\ Richard Graves of Norfolk, Virginia,\ Esther and husband Christopher Spencer of Mt. Morris,\ and Paula Graves of Mt. Morris,\ nine grandchildren: Angela, David, Jonathan, Jeremy, Brian, Michael, Rebecca, Matthew \ and Mark,\ three great-grandchildren, Keyvon, Kayona and Kody,\ three sisters, Helen Streeter, Myrtle Pullano, and Lucille Graves\ and several nieces and nephews.\ \ Duane was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.\
