Obituary of Raymond Carter

Of Mt Morris, age 77, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at BrianAaas House Hospice-Davison. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dean Dumbrille will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Tuesday from 10:00am until 2:00pm and 5:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or The Old Newsboys. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Raymond was born June 5, 1932 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fream and Florence (Stover) Carter. He and Jeraldine Reimer were united in marriage April 18, 2004. He will be remembered for his laughter and love of family. Raymond leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jeraldine; seven children, Ray, Glory and husband, Mike Buckel, Julie and husband, Scott Simonye, Gail, Rene and husband, Jon Castleberry, Tracy, Heidi and husband, Jason Skinner; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; several nieces and nephews; several friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Lynn and his parents.
