Obituary of James Herbert Tolfree

Of Fairgrove, age 75, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at his home. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. Memorial contributions may directed to the Fairgrove Lions Club or the American Legion Caro Post 7. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. James was born December 2, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert and Agnes (Street) Tolfree. He worked for the GM Foundry for over 25 years. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, spending time with his granchildren, fishing, wood working and watching baseball especially the Detroit Tigers. Left to cherish is memory are children, Kathy Bradley, Peggy and husband, Chris Priestley, Brenda and husband, Tom Wojt and Wayne Trisch, Jr.; grandchildren, Camille and husband, William Ehrlich, Jr., Michael Trisch and Sarah Trisch; great-granchildren Austin John Coryell and Kiera Mae Jackson; siblings, Margaret Schultz, Mildred and husband, Robert Frappier, Viola and husband, Henry Sugden, George Tolfree, David and wife, Kathy Tolfree, Gerald (Jerry) and wife, Irene Tolfree, Gloria O'Brien, Thomas Tolfree and Robert and wife, Linda Tolfree; brother-in-law Arnold Bailey, Jr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; second wife Sarah Cartwright and first Betty Wojtasinski; son-in-law Elwyn Bradley; sister, Mary Bailey; brother-in-law, Herman Schultz and Francis O'brien; sister-in-law, Betty "Sue" Tolfree.
