RUPPERT, Malcolm F.\ Fairgrove, Michigan\ \ Mr. Ruppert, age 85, died January 22, 2007 at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home. Malcolm was born October 10, 1921 in Akron, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Amy (Johnson) Ruppert. He and Nancy McCloy were united in marriage August 7, 1942 in Fairgrove. Malcolm served as a Master Sergeant in the US Army during WWII. Malcolm was a long time farmer in Akron-Fairgrove area. He was a member of Fairgrove Presbyterian Church, Fairgrove Lions Club, past member of Akron-Fairgrove VFW and was also an avid bowler. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, Nancy, Four children, Richard and wife Lila Ruppert, Fred and wife Sheryl Ruppert, Phyllis and husband Loren Haag, And John Ruppert, Ten grandchildren, Seven great-grandchildren, one brother, Wallace Ruppert. And many nieces, nephews and friends. Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Tammy, grandson, Dennis, and two brothers and one sister. The Family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Frankenmuth Lutheran Home. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church. Pastor Richard Lawther will officiate with burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Malcolmas family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-5 and 6-8pm and at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the time service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church or to the Fairgrove Library. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. \ \ \
