DALE A. KREIL\ \ Of Vassar, age 65 died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born February 17, 1941 in Saginaw, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Ellen Mae (Whidden) Kreil. He was a graduate of Vassar High School class of 1959. Dale and Nancy Barrons were united in marriage January 7, 1961 in Bay City. Dale worked for Kroger for 45 years, retiring in May of 2005. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, and was an unforgettable friend to many and had a great sense of humor. Surviving are his wife of 46 years Nancy; 2 daughters Kim Stadler of Bad Axe, Marsha Hiller of Cass City; 2 granddaughters Becky Stadler of Vassar, Jessie and husband Josh Harris of Saginaw; 1 grandson Dustin Clark; 1 great granddaughter Mikayla Harris; 5 brothers, Harold and Gladys Kreil of Frankenmuth, Joe Kreil of Vassar, Don and Merriell Kreil of Saginaw, Walter and Mary Lou Kreil of Vassar, Dave and Diane Kreil of Reese; 1 sister Vernmae and Don Williams of Vassar; several nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter Candi Jo in 1989.\ Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday January 29, 2007 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar with Mrs. Michelle Hile officiating. Burial will be at the Juniata Township Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar 1-9pm Sunday and Monday from 10am until time of funeral. Those desiring may consider contributions to the Kreil Family Fund.\ \
