My Grandmother was a very special lady. I loved her very deeply. Her passing is not that of sadness or of joy, but a continuation of her life. Her lose will be felt by me very deeply and I will miss her more then I could put into words.\ \ She taught me many things in life. Not only to be strong but to never let anyone tell me who I was. She stood by me in any decision I made even if she knew it was going to be a mistake. She was there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to. I will miss her early morning phone calls and her bright smile. \ \ She was a big part of my life through childhood and my early adulthood. I will miss the way she thought Vick's cured every ailment. I will also miss spending the weekends with her and she made me wear metal brush curlers in my hair the night before church. The trips to Frankemuth and Birch Run for walks in the spring and summer. Or the way she would chase me and my cousin Kizzy around the house with her wooden heal slippers when we would keep her up at night giggling at whatever was on T.V.\ \ I have many fond memories of my grandmother. Most importantly she taught me to give back to the community and to be proud of who I am and where I come from.\ \ I love you Grandma! I will miss you! May you rest in peace from pain and suffering with the Lord our saviour!\ \ God bless us!
