ESCKELSON, Marie M. age 73 of Mayville died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at her home. Marie was born March 30, 1933 in Mayville the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern and Mable (Jacques) Garner. She and Elbert Esckelson were united in marriage on September 1, 1951 in Caro. She worked for Fischer Guide-Ternstedt for 30 years. She was a member of the Vassar Mayville American Legion Mayville #0181, VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 10884, Vassar Eagles # 2380, and the UAW. \

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob, and sisters Grace, Alice, and Theresa.\

Funeral service for Marie will be Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 11:00am at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar, Rev. David Somers officiating, with burial in Fremont Cemetery. Marieas family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Monday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Tuesday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, and on Wednesday morning from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am. On Tuesday evening, family and friends will gather for a VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service at 7:00pm by the VFW District 10. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be considered to a family fund, envelopes are available at the funeral home. \
