Of Mt. Morris, age 91, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Memorial service will take place sometime in the future. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Girl Scouts of America. Virginia was born January 5, 1916 in Frankfort, Kentucky the daughter of Rosco and Ruby (Chambers) Sudduth. She and Edward Thomas were united in marriage June 2, 1955 in Covington, Kentucky. Virginia worked as a secretary at the Kresge Corporation in Detroit for many years and was a member of the Memorial Church of Christ in Livonia. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years: Edward, four children: Donald R. and wife Earline Smith of Oklahoma, Judi and husband John Beal, Jr. of Mt. Morris, Michael Thomas of Missouri and Patricia and husband David Easterday of Traverse City, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Scottie Snyder, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.\
