HORACE R. FERGUSON "Rudya, \ age 83 of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Kith Haven. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Pastor Todd Regester officiating with burial following in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be considered to the Kidney Foundation or the Hill Road Baptist Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rudy was born July 23, 1923 in McRay, Arkansas, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles B. & June (Parker) Ferguson. He was proud to be a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army Air Corps. He and Helen Tolson were united in marriage in June of 1959 in Detroit, MI. She preceded him in death in 1987. Rudy and Mary Gray were united in marriage on August 5, 1989 at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris and she preceded him in death in 2003. He worked for Buick Motor Division for thirty-one years as a set-up man, retiring in 1980. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and being in the out-of-doors. Rudy was a long time member of the Mt. Morris First Baptist Church. Left to cherish Rudyas memory are his son, Richard Lee Ferguson of Flint; stepchildren, Theodore and wife Madelon Tolson of Clio, Charles and wife Dorothy Tolson of Swartz Creek, Joan and husband, Cedric Porter of Hammond, Ind., Dolores Christopher of Flint, Margaret Faye and husband Charles Smith of Flint, Barbara and husband Bernard Reno of Swartz Creek; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren ; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Naomi Jordan of Tennessee.\ Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen; wife, Mary; brother, J.C. Ferguson.\
