My favorite memory was the day Aunt Sandy had Kim. That day was also my birthday. Aunt Sandy was so beautiful, you could talk to her and she would listen. I missed them so much when they moved to Michigan. I love you , rest in peace. I love you so much Uncle Jr., I am sorry I can't be there with you today. My heart and prayers are with you. Kim and Randy and families, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you both. May God bless you and comfort you at this time of loss in your life. I know we haven't seen each other in a while, we are still family, if you need a cousin's shoulder I am here. love to you ALL. Betsy Alice Philbee

I smile as I write this because Sandy was quite a character. Her sense of humor and razzing of my husband (he deserved it) still make me smile. Our dog Boo loved to go visit Sandy and JR, two of his favorite people. Even when he knocked over the lamp, she just laughed and called him over to see her. We helped her give JR a hard time and we all shared some laughs, meals, and conversation. She was a great comfort to me the year after my grandmother passes away (and yes I know you were not old enough to be my grandmother). Todd and I went to church and out to eat with Sandy and JR. My grandmother had taken me out to Easter breakfast almost every year since I was three and I was missing her. Sandy had a lot of the same spunk and character as my grandma and it was as if my grandma sent her to have breakfast with me so I would not miss her so much and would find comfort and laughter for the day. I hope her grandchildren have a similar experience when they are missing her in the near future to give them a glimpse of the one they miss and make them smile at the memories they shared with her. I am sad that she had to have so many physical challenges at the end of her days. It is a testimony of character that she held onto her sense of humor through most of it. I know she was not ready to leave her loved ones. I take comfort that she is with God and that her pain is at an end. She will always hold a place in my heart. Todd and I send our thought and prayers to JR who spent so much time attending to her comfort and care. And to her children and grandchildren who were very much the "Apple of Her Eye".

It was so long ago, it seems now, and yet I can remember some scenes from out country grade school days quite clearly. I wish we had stayed in contact better. Rest in peace.

I have shared countless memories with my Grandma. I will always keep her in my heart. I miss you gramma, i love you. Im happy you got to see your grand kids have babies and familes of thier own.l, and happy you had that chance to meet all your great grandchildren. ill surw miss seeing your face, and your awesome sense of humor.
