Hello Susan:\
I have great memories of your Dad from the time I was a little guy. I remember when your folks adopted you and Barry. I remember your folks' house on Lafayette ?? or near there. I always thought it was a pretty ritzy place with a sunken living room, etc., but we always sat in the den. Berneda worked for my dad at Fisher Body for several years and I think it was through the Fisher Body connection that the McCollums, Girardots and Rabidouxs hooked up. I remember going to your dad's car lot on North Saginaw. I remember when he came to our house for my high school graduation open house. It was late in the afternoon but he made the effort to come. For many years, I had in my possession a set of steak knives he sent me when I married in 1972. He was a kind and dashing man. I bumped into Mac a few times through the years and he always recognized me and was very cordial. He was a class act. \
Sorry I couldn't join you this past weekend as I was visiting my daughter Trisha who lives in Chicago, but I am sure that Marlene represented the family well.\
Best Wishes to you.\

I'd send condolences, but I find myself only feeling great joy in knowing the Mac led a life that can only be envied. He will be missed, but the memories he left will never be forgotten, most of them humorous. He was a great man and truly loved by all that knew him. \

Mac taught me soo many things, many that I use daily with my job. \
\
Mac, I'll miss the twinkle in your eyes and the laughter in your heart.\

I am truly sorry for your loss. Mac was my great uncle through marriage. I am the youngest daughter of Paul and Judy Hayes. I did not know Uncle Mac very well, but he was always great with me. Dec. 12, 2004, my 2 children died in a car accident here in Wyoming. We flew them to Mi. for the second services. I was deeply touched that Uncle Mac went to the funeral home. I will pray that all of you will cherish all the wonderful memories. Take care. Sincerely, Lonni Murray
