Huggler, Leona C. age 89 of Burton, formerly of Genesee, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at11:00 am on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, 1194 E. Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, Reverend Bruce Nowacek officiating, with burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. Leonaas family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am to 8:00pm, and on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service. Memorial donations may be considered to the Genesee United Methodist Church; envelopes are available at the funeral home. \

Leona was born February 14, 1918 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Minnie (Woyahn) Thompson. She and Eldon A. Huggler were united in marriage on March 10, 1939, and he preceded her in on death June 12, 1984. Leona worked as a clerk for Ben Franklin in Genesee for many years. She was an active, long-time member of Genesee United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, writing letters, playing cards and taking care of her family. \

Three sons: David and wife Susan Huggler of Grand Blanc;\
Thomas and wife Laura Huggler of Sunfield, MI;\
Eldon and wife Antionette Huggler of Hawks, MI.\

Thirteen grandchildren: Renee, Mark, Scott, Amy, Robin, Andrea, Brian, Jennifer, Marisa, Daniel T., Laura, Valerie, and Daniel A. Sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Three sisters: Lucille and husband Calvin Berry of Genesee, Florence Demlow of Adrian, and Nina Thompson of Adrian; one brother-in-law: Andy and wife Marge Huggler of Genesee; three sisters-in-law: Marge Carlson of FL, Doris and husband Omer Turnbull of Midland, Esther Thom of CO, and many special friends.\

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eldon, one sister Fern Carlson, and many brothers and sisters in law. \
