DINSE, Robert D., age 79 died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Genesys Health Park in Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris with burial following in Flint Memorial Park. Robertas family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm Friday. Friday evening, friends and parish will gather for a Scripture Service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Saturday morning, Robert will be taken to lie in state at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriners Childrenas Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and at the church.\

Robert was born July 11, 1927 in Flint, Michigan, son of Mr. & Mrs. Richard and Pearl (Raymond) Dinse. He was proud to be a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He married Dorothy Denton on November 20, 1948 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan. He worked for General Motors Factory 10 for thirty years, retiring on January 1, 1979 and also a member of UAW Local 599. Throughout his life, Robert loved deer hunting, enjoyed all sports, fishing, gardening, and his hunting dogs. He was also an avid U of M fan and loved the babies of his family.\

Left to cherish Robertas memory are his wife of fifty-eight years Dorothy; children, Sandra and husband Ronald Stanley of Flint, Dale and wife Jackie Dinse of Tennessee, Rick and wife Cindy Dinse of Flint, Terry and wife June Dinse of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Raynell and husband Michael Tolley, Noelle and husband Richard Siegel, Ryan and wife Tammy Stanley, Melissa and husband Alex Padilla, Sabrina Sharp, Lauren Dinse; great grandchildren, Michael Tolley, Hunter Stanley, Rachel Tolley, Jackson Stanley; sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Denton.\
