Obituary of Dolores O Sorensen

Of Vassar, formerly of Flint, age 77, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at BrianAaas House in Davison. . Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00noon to 8:00pm. On Friday evening, parish, family, and friends will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 6:00pm. On Saturday morning, Dolores will be taken to church where she will lie in state from 10:00am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to Brians House- Davison or Millington Senior Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Dolores was born November 6, 1932 in Fosters, Michigan the daughterof Mr. and Mrs. Phillip and Anna (Bachan) Raymond. She and Donald Raymond Sorensen were united in marriage April 21, 1951 in Mt. Morris. Dolores is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald, her children :Donald and wife Theresa, Daniel, Cathy and husband Duane DuFresne, Julie and husband Glenn Church, Dennis, Pamela and husband David James, David, Karen , Beth and husband Steve Walker, Laurie and husband Ryan Conley, 24 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren , sister Diana Byrnes and brother Douglas and wife Sheila Raymond and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
