Obituary of Gilbert Steve Radick

Gilbert Steve Radick Sr.\ Age 69 died Saturday, May 12, 2007, at his home in Cass City. Gilbert was born in Caro, Michigan on May 18, 1937 son of Mr. & Mrs. Steve and Thurza Louise (Blackmer) Radick. He married Minnie Ilene Neiman on December 22, 1994 in Vassar, Michigan. Gilbert worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Great Lakes Minerals. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union for thirty-six years. In his free time, Gilbert loved hunting, fishing , listening to classic country music, reading westerns, traveling with Ilene and going to their cabin in Mio. Left to cherish GilbertAaas memory are his wife, Ilene; eight children, Gilbert Jr. and wife Wanda Radick, Cheri and husband Troy Howe, Lynn and husband David Diener, Tina Aymer, Brenda and husband Jay Wescoat, Clarence and wife Julie Radick, Dana Price, and James and wife Crystal Herr; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Walter Radick, Betty and husband Edward Callahan, Linda Radick, Steve and wife Pam Radick; numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks would like to be extended to a special family friend, Marianne Lester. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Vernon Radick. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 11:00am at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar, officiated by Pastor Ron Comfort., with burial following at Juniata Township Cemetery. Family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday from 11:00 am Aa" 9:00 pm and prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Radick Family Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.\
