Obituary of Richard E. Aeder

Richard E. Aeder \ Age 78 of Akron died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Bay Medical Center. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 16, 2007 11:00am at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove, Mr. Richard Miller officiating, with burial in Demorest Cemetery. DickAaas family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove on Friday from 3:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. \ Dick was born March 29, 1929 in Bay City the son of Rudy and Ruby (Montroy) Aeder. He and Mary Lou Peck were united in marriage on April 8, 1950 in Bay City. He worked for Monitor Sugar for 29 years as a Field Man, retiring in 1991. He owned and operated Wisner Upholstery, and served as the Wisner Township Supervisor for several years. Dick was a member of the Akron Church of Christ where he served as a Church Elder. \ Dick leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years Mary Lou, 3 children Keith and wife Melodie Aeder of Fairgrove, Mark Aeder of PA, and Anne and husband Michael Garrison of Lake Orion, 6 grandchildren Nathan and wife Gretchen Aeder of Bay City, Nicole Aeder of Clawson, Travis Aeder of Fairgrove, Justin Aeder of Fairgrove, Bradley Garrison of Lake Orion and Jacob Garrison of Lake Orion, 2 brothers Marv and wife Char Aeder of CA, and Ken and wife Ruth Aeder of Lansing, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Guy Aeder, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. \
