Obituary of Ella M. McGinley

Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Bill Bridgman will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Ella's family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00am to 9:00pm and on Friday from 12:00 until time of service. Memorial donations may be considered to the Alzheimers Association or the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ Ella was born September 7, 1929 in Lynn, Arkansas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orris and Winnie (Sims) Richey. She and Leonard McGinley were united in marriage on February 15, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1989. Ella worked for the Farm Crest Bakery for 19 years, before retiring. \ \ Ella leaves to cherish her memory 4 children: son Donald McGinley, daughter Tressa Niles, daughter Phyllis Coleman, and son Richard McGinley, 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Larry and wife Jean Richey, and George and wife Joan Richey, 2 sisters Betty Archer, and Imogene and husband James Norman, many special sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and special friend Wilma Sims. \ \ Ella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Mary June Brackett, and daughter in law Debbie McGinley.
