Of Sarasota, FL at age 90, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at The Pines of Sarasota. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Galbraith will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will greet friends and loved ones from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to The Pines of Sarasota Building Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Darlene was born November 2, 1916 in Perry, Iowa the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver and Myrtle (Connett) Gorham. She and David Maul were united in marriage in March 16, 1936 in Flint. She worked at Wheelock Hospital and retired at age 70. Darlene enjoyed cooking and having family gatherings. Her memory will be cherished by her daughters; Darlene Rose Tuck and husband Harold of Sarasota, Florida, Judy Diane Franklin of Otisville, Mary Beth Maul-Brown and husband Robert of Flint, Son; David Grant Maul and wife Kim of Hope, Michigan, 12 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren and a few Great Great Grandchildren. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years David Maul, her parents; her 5 sisters, and 2 brothers. \
