Obituary of Robert Henry LaBelle

LABELLE, Robert Henry\ \ Of Mt. Morris, age 81, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at home, cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be, Tuesday July 31, 2007 11:00 am at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Deacon Michael Dear will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Disabled Veterans. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Robert was born June 21, 1926 in Glens Falls, NY the son of Mr. and Mrs. Treffle and Alma (Mondoux) LaBelle. He and Therese Larose were united in marriage in 1946 in Montreal, Canada, and she preceded him in death in 1994. In 1995 Robert married Alice May in Mt. Morris. He was employed and retired from Ryder Corporation as a inspector. \ \ Robert leaves to cherish his memory his wife Alice, 5 children; Michael J. and wife Tracy LaBelle, Christine A. LaBelle, Kenneth E. and wife Stephanie LaBelle, Paul H. LaBelle, Joan I. LaBelle, 6 step children, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Donald LaBelle, Ernest and wife Catherine LaBelle, and Thomas and wife Elaine LaBelle.\ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Therese, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. \ \ Alice would like to extend a special thanks to Genesys Home Hospice, Dr. Jabban, daughter Joan LaBelle, step children Scott Hoover Jr, Dennis Hoover, Larry Hoover, Valerie Smith, and Gayle Fisher, 2 grand daughters Leann Luke, and Becky Redman, sister in law Nancy Stafford, and Gary and Marva Aris for their help and care during Bob's final hours. \ \
