Obituary of Albert R. Ross

Age 91, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in Grand Blanc. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 1:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church in Birch Run. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to The Medical Team Hospice, 4400 S. Saginaw St. Suite 1300, Flint, MI 48507. Albert was born September 28, 1922, in Pocahontas, Arkansas the son of Stanley and Cora (Alttis) Ross. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Albert worked for General Motors for 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and remodeling. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Alice; children, Daniel Ross and girlfriend, Jan Wildey, Tony and wife, Cindy Ross and Diane Duke; stepsons, John and wife, Terry Harju, and David and wife, Brenda Harju; brother, Stan Ross; sister, Shirley Ertelt; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
