Obituary of Lawrence John Warner

Of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt Morris. Deacon Jim Brown will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will greet friends and loved ones on Friday from 1:00pm until 8:00pm. On Friday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 6:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Lawrence was born September 15, 1929 in Petoskey, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick and Alma (Holdorph) Fisher. He and Evelyn Lorraine Lambert Firman were united in marriage May 18, 1951 in Baycity. He worked as a truck driver at McDonald Dairy for 30 years. He was a sergeant in the US Airforce, was an avid bowler and golfer and loyal Tigers fan.\ \ His memory will be cherished and sadly missed by his daughter; Beverly (John) Hodge, his 3 Grandchildren; John (Brandi) Hodge II, Carl Hodge, and Lawrence Hodge, his Great-Grandaughter Bailey Hodge, his 3 brothers Fred Warner, Chuck Fisher, Richard Fisher his 2 sisters; Dorthy Gavulic and Patricia Force. \ \ \ He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Evelyn, his parents and his brothers Ernie Warner, Harry Warner, his sisters Rita Newman, Margaret Lash, and Mary Trombly.
