Obituary of Edna DeWitt

Of Birch Run, age 67, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at her home. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. John Becker will officiate with burial to follow in Pinegrove Cemetery. EdnaAaas family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm. On Wednesday 9:00am until time of service at 11:00. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, or to the First Presbyterian Church in Vassar. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Edna was born July 2, 1942 in Clio, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Mildred (Taylor) Noyce. She and Marvin D. DeWitt were united in marriage on November 4, 1972. Edna enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, camping, and bowling. Edna leaves to cherish her memory her husband Marvin, her mother, Mildred; four children, Myra (Jim) Payzont, Kimberly (Roger) Jewell, Veronica (Tim) Childs, Lisa (Bob) Rosebush, seven grandchildren Jeremy, Krista, Bradley, Nicholas, Breanna, Bethany and Colin; one great-grandson, Kennith; six siblings; Betty (Jim) Murphy, Sandy (John) Kleinow, Allen (Loretta) Noyce, Pat (Wayne) Dunn, Denny (Jill) Noyce, Rick (Leanne) Noyce; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her dad and her nephew Patrick Anderson.
