Obituary of Danny Lee Boulton
Age 75, of Flint, passed away Friday, March 21, 2024, at home with his family by his side. A funeral service will take place at 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell to officiate, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Danny’s family will be present to receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Danny “Bobo” was born in Flint on January 9, 1949, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Elinor J. (Mitchell) Boulton. Educated locally, he attended Beecher High School graduating with the Class of 1967. Bobo enjoyed playing basketball in high school and was one of the best outside shooters they had. After high school, he joined a men’s softball league and played on that for many years. Not only did he play sports he also enjoyed his time spent as an umpire for them. Bobo also enjoyed playing cards of any kind and shooting pool. Watching the Detroit Lions and U of M football were his favorite pastimes. Bobo loved his family, especially his grandson, and enjoyed spending time with him. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Danny's memory are his beloved life partner, Mickie Brownfield; daughters: Dayna and husband, Marcus McLaurine, Angela Boulton; grandson: Maverick; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Boulton; and sister, Donna Princing.
