Walter “Wally” was born in Flint on August 18, 1965, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis and Betty (Wurn) Davidson. Wally worked as a master plumber as well as a master in the heating and cooling industry. He also spent some time working as a truck driver. There wasn’t much he wasn’t able to do. Wally loved to take his boat out on the water and go fishing all day. Walleye was his favorite fish so he always tried to find places where they were, but it didn’t matter much to him, as long as he was able to go fishing and could teach his favorite people to fish. Wally also enjoyed camping and playing darts. Watching the Detroit Lions was his passion, and he never missed a game. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers. Wally was a wonderful family man who loved his dogs, nieces, and nephews. He was known as all of their favorite uncle and the best Papa Wally. He will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish Wally's memory are his life partner, Patty Webster; partner's children: Heathere and husband, Jason Landis, Kenneth and wife, Alexandria Webster; grandchildren, Cherokee and Remington; siblings: Gary and wife, Cathy Davidson, Kimberly Kelsey, Patricia and husband, Terry Harrington, Otis Davidson, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents.
