Obituary of Daniel Ray Rice
Age 65, of Clio, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Willowbrook Manor in Flint. In accordance with Daniels's wishes cremation has taken place; there are no further services scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Daniel's tribute page on martinfuneralhome.com.
He was born in Flint, Michigan, on February 5, 1959, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Junior and Gale Rice. Educated locally, he graduated from the Clio High School with the class of 1977. Heeding the call of duty, Daniel enlisted in the United States Army serving in Germany. Upon returning to civilian life, Daniel would begin working as a fork truck operator for Landaal Packaging Systems in Burton. In his free time, Daniel enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing; watching football and snacking on black licorice.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Scott and wife, Amanda; grandchildren: Savannah, Jackson, Ellah, and Avah; and other family members.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.
